I'm just asking if there's a thing 11 year old girls want in common. She's already got an ipod, and I'm sure she'll want a razr... I was just wondering if there's something other than technological in nature. Like girls like necklaces or fruitcakes... or, I don't know. Something traditional. I kind of want to surprise her, but not with a PS3 type of thing. I want christmas to be special, not just the time to upgrade.
Have you ever been to The Bad Robot store in the Haymarket? They have alot of cool things. I'm thinking about getting this for my kids: it's a kit w/a martian type creature that you paint, etc. to make your own special martian guy. Anyway the store is just south of The Mill on the west side of the street.
Yeah... money. She'll buy something she thinks her friends will think is cool. Whatever it is it'll probably be in the trash by the end of the year. Kids... Oh well.
I don't know cuz I don't have an 11 yr. old girl, but if you want it to be something other than technological, maybe a necklace would be good, like you already mentioned. You could get a charm necklace that opens and has a picture of you with her inside of it.

well if you are not sure what things hold her interest, how about a gift card.
